According to this instruction, Epson has not specially released drivers for Windows Vista. The printer will use the built in driver in Windows Vista. In Windows 7 RC, the driver is not present. However, Microsoft has provided that driver via Windows Update. Please follow the steps below to install the printer.
1. Click Start->Device and Printers.
2. Click Add a printer.
3. Choose Add a local printer.
4. Select to use a existing LPT port, click Next.
5. Click the button Windows Update. Wait for the process finishes.
6. Choose the correct model: Epson->Epson Stylus Photo 820 (M) (Epson)/(Microsoft)
7. Finish the installation.
