Pandigital adds to its Android tablet line the new 8-inch SuperNova Media Tablet, joining Planet, Nova and Star . The new tablet is powered by a Samsung 1GHz Cortex A8 processor with dedicated graphics engine for enhanced performance for playing games. It features a 8-inch capacitive touchscreen with 600×800 resolution, front and back cameras. The tablet packs 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage.
Pandigital’s SuperNova supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 and offers HDMI output and USB connector. It provides direct access to digital content, offering Barnes & Noble’s eStore and GetJar store. It runs Android 2.3.
The Pandigital SuperNova (R80B400/R80B452) will be available in mid-October for $229.
